Started Sat 09 May 2010
1st kit brew made with tap water + Campden.
Made up to 20l – 4 gallons was ~1050, so a bit high. Returned 1st trial jar to FV, mixed 2nd trial jar with
yeast when pitching.
OG 1044
SG 1014 on Fri 14 and Sat 15 May. Roused on Sat night.

Barrelled Mon 17 May 2010
Barrelled with 70g caster sugar (~30g white, ~40g light brown) in ~250ml water
6g gelatine powder, rehydrated and heated in 100ml water
Pretty clear Thu 27 May 2010, bottled 6.
Seems properly sealed…
Maybe started drinking a bit early – took an age to clear, even with finings, but was almost as good as the first one (maybe a little less hops flavour). Still very nice!
